Canine and Feline Healthy Food Diets
Several years ago I fed my shibas Dr. Ballard Food which was
manufactured by Friskies if remember correctly. A little over a year ago the
company stopped making the food. I was really upset because my shibas did so
well on it. I tried several foods without success (some were VERY expensive) and
remembered when I was on the Chihuahua-L list that some people had mentioned
that Flint River Ranch was very good. So I looked on the internet and found a
distributor. I tried the food and amazingly I could see results in condition and
coat within a matter of weeks. I've always given a new food pretty close to six
months to see if it made a change, but I had to actually cut the portions before
I was done with the first bag because they were getting fat. Both Dr. Ballard
and this food are baked, so maybe that is why they do so well on it, I don't
know, but I have the best coats and overall condition on my shibas that I have
had since Dr. Ballard and that is why I am now a distributor. Actually, it
doesn't cost anything to be a distributor and you can make a little money to
help offset your feed bill. But more about that later, now for some information
on the food.
